How do i overclock an AMD Athlon XP Barton 1.84 GHz? And what's the safe memory frequency to not overheat?

It is not always possible to overclock these old processors. I have the AMD Athlon XP 2800+ in one of my old PC's & I can't do it. Too high RAM memory frequencies do not cause overheating, they cause the PC to crash.
