Christians, do you feel that bible is taught better in Protestant churches than in Catholic Churches?

I was baptized Catholic and attended Catholic schools for ten years. The main parts of scripture that are addressed in M are the Gospels and Epistles. The only time we studied the Bible was in our Sopre religion cl. There it was taught more as literature than it was taught as the word of God. The invention of the printing press was a harsh blow to the Vatican.
