State trooper or county police?

Ok i want to become a police officer but i don't no what field county police or state trooper. i like to help people out i'm a good thinker. i want to get bad drivers off the road. i want to get the drugs and stuff of the streets and i want to go to lets say some one gets punch by some random guy i want to go to stuff like that. But i don't want to just stay in one area. Sorry if this sounds like a 10 year old writing this just saying what i want to do so what would be better for me? state trooper or country police. Dont make comments like i think you need to go back to the 1st grade because i have bad spelling
