What should i do?10pts?

ok.. so our computer technician have just installed deep freeze in my pc.. i have a trouble upgrading my msn because they said that if i boot thawed while online, my computer may crash or open to any damages especially to viruses.. what should i do? for sure if i boot freeze, no settings will be saved and my msn will be back to the old version.. tell me what to do.. i really need your help..
