Is is safe to use an ozone generator in a room with a fishtank?

The generator should be OK with the fish tank,a few years back there were filters with primitive Ozone generators in them,(they didn't work too well) that didn't harm the fish.Sorry about the smoke damage.------Good luck.------PeeTee
