I have always had a dream to become an engineer of some type?

However, I struggle with math. It doesn't mean that I can't be good at math its just that it doesn't come as easy as I wish it would. On the flip side I am good at designing and building stuff in my head and figuring out how things work. I have always enjoyed tearing apart anything I could get my hands on (especially electronics). I believe that with some drafting and design courses I would be set. I thought about picking up some type of CAD degree, but I don't want to be sitting in front of a computer all day. I would like to be able to participate in everything from the design to aiding in the construction/production of the final product. Does anybody have any recommendations and what fields to look into?
