Yes, but most people would be too depressed if they accepted the truth. The Supreme Court ruling last spring put the last nail in the coffin of people having anything to say about their government. America is now a corporatocracy, and that corporatocracy will continue to hold elections to fool the people into thinking they have a say but run everything themselves as usual.
